German precision combined with a unique design gave birth to a grinder that will become a decoration of every kitchen and an indispensable assistant for every cook.

The 20-centimeter-high grinder has a minimalist design combining wood and metal. Its shape has been designed to fit perfectly in any hand. The set is ideal for anyone who is really serious about Kampot pepper, whether they are just starting out in cooking or the kitchen is their natural territory.

The mill is made of high-quality sandblasted ash wood, which stands out with its unique color and pattern. This is complemented by the metal part of the body of the grinder, thanks to which it will serve you forever. You can choose between black and natural color of the grinder.

The whole set is stored in a large wooden box, which can be engraved according to your wishes. We did not choose these covers by chance. Not only are they nice to look at, they are also made in the Czech Republic and are all made of sustainable material that can be easily recycled or upcycled. The size of the entire package is 23.4 x 23.4 x 8.8 cm.

Inside the grinder there is a CeraCut® ceramic grinding mechanism. This is a technology developed in Germany that guarantees that the pepper and salt are always ground to absolute perfection. The coarseness of grinding can be adjusted for each grinder, while the machine can grind peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

The set includes three 50g bags with the basic types of Kampot pepper, i.e. black, red and white. Individual types differ from each other in their taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black Kampot pepperafter grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually flow into a seaside aroma with developing fruity notes. The aroma of peach and nectarine is dominant, accompanied by the scent of pine and the earthy tones of the Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rarered Kampot pepperis an explosion of fruity notes with a gentler burn. At first, notes of rose and rosehip fruit dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, the more characteristic aromas of Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines and an earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White Kampot pepperit is a gentle but still peppery caress of the taste buds. After it is ground, the aromas of camphor, sage and cedar wood develop, accompanied by the delicate aroma of nutmeg, grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in your mouth, you can feel notes of nutmeg, thyme flower and lemon balm underpinned by aromas of cedar and black tea.

By setting the coarseness of the pepper grind, you influence its flavor profile. The smaller the fragments, the sharper the flavor of the pepper. On the contrary, larger fragments give the dish more of the specific exotic notes of Kampot pepper.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour loose balls into the chamber straight from the package, and use a spoon or funnel to help. Open the grinder by pulling the grinder head up from the body. At the same time, don't forget to clean your grinder regularly. However, never use water or chemical products for this. All you need is a cloth, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful with its operator, also over steam.
